Jay Farrar
Jay Farrar (born December 26, 1966 in Belleville, Illinois) is an American songwriter and musician currently based in St. Louis, Missouri. A veteran of two critically acclaimed music groups, Uncle Tupelo and Son Volt, he began his solo music career in 2001. Beyond his established talents as a songwriter, he is a guitarist, harmonicist, and a vocalist. His musical style ranges from sparse, unaccompanied folk music to full rock and roll band arrangements comparable to Neil Young or Dinosaur Jr.

This song is an anthem about my younger brothers life who I lost in 2020 to a car accident lines in the song are snippets of his short time on here but it is relatable to a lot of people who are not scared of a good time. Enjoy!more

This story behind the tune is that it’s an anthem about my younger brother who I lost December 23 2020 in a car wreck. he was a black sheep and damn proud of it. he marched to the beat of his own drum till the very end. I released it back in April and it’s gone over pretty well so far enjoy!more
